Outdoor activity!

Usually we had one day provided for outdoor activity together. This is the time when I look out for the groceries and find new reading materials for both umar and myself.

This week we went to the park. Not many photos as the camera was out of battery. We went to the Muslim groceries shop as early as 8.30am to get some fresh fish, chickens and veges.

Then we bought some roti canai and packed them to the park. The park was empty as everyone was at school and parents were working. Only few kids and parents there. So umar was free to explore all the facilities available.

after a few minutes enjoying the playground, we had our breakfast..umar was happy as it was a difference experience for him to have breakfast outside the house!


then we strolled around the park and went back home around 10am..:)

trip to zoo melaka

We went to my cousin wedding in JB during the awal muharram holiday.

It was a good time to meet most of the relatives and celebrating the first wedding had in JB.

May Allah bless the couples and grant them His blessing in this world and hereafter. Congratulation to Tahirah and hubbby!

On the way back, we went to Zoo Melaka as Umar had been asking for a trip to the zoo for soo many times. We had a trip to the national zoo when umar was 1years plus.

For this second time, umar was so excited and he learns a lot as compared to our previous trip. Even though we only spent 2 solid hours there. As usual many questions came up and many statements made by this cutiepie!

While exploring, we did discussed on the great power of Allah creating all these with different colours, shape, species etc. The first and simple step to educate our child on faith is to introduce him to the world and make him think about His creations.



Umar was so amazed with his exploration and keep talking about it in the car and even calling his grandma to tell her on his trip..;)

exlopring nature with family!

I wanted to bring umar for a simple 'tracking' experience for so long but not sure where and when. Alhamdulillah last weekend, we went to visit umar's pak long in Kuantan and off we go to the waterfall. (umar call it 'waterjun' = waterfall+air terjun..hihi)

to reach the spot nearest to the waterfall we had to do some jungle tracking. Surprisingly Umar was so eager and enjoying the tracking so much. His cute mouth never stop asking me a lot of questions. I let him touch the trees, dried leaves or anything which is safe for him to let him explore as much as he could. We even came across a very big 'ulat gonggok' as big as my big toe.
Umar was so excited, he wanna touch it and of course I did not allow him.

In the afternoon, we went to Teluk Chempedak and umar was busy playing with the sand while we observed him do what ever he wanted to with the sand. We only allowed him to play with dried sand coz I did not planned to change his cloth again after the tiring 'exploration' at the 'waterjun';)

Working while being with my beloved hubby and son in JB is heaven..
I'm enjoying the experience very much..I am happy and grateful..(alhamdulillah) for this opportunity..
